The perfect first puzzle: four phases, a handful of short algorithms, and half of it is done by eye. Every case comes with the exact picture of how it looks and how it ends up.
Phase 1: The corners
The four corners of a Pyraminx twist in place and NEVER move anywhere else — that's what makes it so easy. Three of them carry a yellow sticker: hold the puzzle with the yellow-free corner pointing up and twist each bottom corner until its yellow faces the floor. Pure eyesight, no algorithms.
All three bottom corners with their yellow facing the floor. Ignore the edges for now.
